Our site is specifically meant to help the family history researcher in several areas of genealogy research. It is first and foremost a genealogy blog so feel free to read all of the articles on this massive site and make some comments on them.
There are plenty of sites already existing which contain actual family history information such as census data, and so we are not going to do that here. This site is to point you in the right direction and send you to the help you need. There seems to be far too much genealogy information simply floating around on the web on too many different sites in an unorganized fashion. Someone has to begin to organize it.
How is this site organized?
The Top
At the very top, on the menu bar, we have a link to all the genealogy related products we are currently recommending. This may change from time to time. You will also find the Privacy Policy and Contact information there.
The Left Column
In the left column you will see CATEGORIES. These are how the articles are organized. All of the articles on this site appear in one of these categories.
Below that you will see RECENT GENEALOGY POSTS. These are the most recent 15 articles written for the site. These are not all of the family history articles present here. You have to look at the CATEGORIES to see all of the articles.
Below that are the most RECENT COMMENTS about the articles on this site.
Below that will appear a variety of links in separate genealogy related groups which are self-explanatory. Believe us; we have searched the web up and down to find the best, bar none, links to the subject matter presented.
The Right Column
In the right column you will see a link to our own high quality Family History Research Services. However, we have not developed this site solely for that. But if you need help in our area of expertise we are there for you.
